Extending Its Technology –
MFSI’s Commercial Products
The various technology development contracts that MFSI
has received since its beginning has provided a resource
for a variety of applications and products outside air-borne
pathogen monitoring. Each module in the BAND and IBADS
systems can be a stand-alone commercial product to perform
sample processing and purification, and detection.
MFSI has produced a limited number of stand-alone, programmable
cell lysis instruments which are currently under evaluation
with a variety of commercial and government entities.
The company is also currently active in additional sample
processing technology evaluation programs with several
entities for the purpose of defining the next generation
commercial products. These include: nucleic acid purification,
and flow-through immunoassays and thermal cyclers for
PCR and detection. One of these collaborations is with
the US
Department of Agriculture’s Food Pathogen program
program in Albany California. |
